Bookstall with a Difference!

Bookstalls are a regular feature at churches and Christian conferences, but you usually get to keep the books that you buy.

At the recent National Training Event in December 2010 for university students, Langham ran a bookstall selling resources for pastors in Vanuatu. Kitted out in bright clothes adorned with Vanuatu’s islands, we sold every one of our NIV Study Bibles, Africa Bible Commentaries and Understanding and Using the Bible; and spread the word about the growth and needs of God’s church around the world.

There was a lot of interest, from students who simply delighted to share their resources with Vanuatu’s passionate Christian leaders to one man who had served with Australia’s assistance mission to the neighbouring Solomon Islands and had a deep love for Melanesia and its people.
