Urgent Prayer Request: Colombia

Langham Partnership has received an urgent prayer request from friends in Medellin, Colombia where there are colleagues working at the theological seminary and also several Langham Preaching preachers clubs in the churches of the city. They write:

‘Villa Flora and Bello Horizonte are two neighbourhoods that surround the seminary in Medellin.  For the last couple of days, there have been intense exchanges of gunfire among local gangs. Today, all the local schools were evacuated after an anonymous communiqué circulated declaring that they would attack the schools that would not comply, and establishing also a curfew after 8 pm starting tonight.’

Please pray for the seminary staff and students, and the Langham Preaching preachers clubs, the pastors and their churches in this part of the city.
